  • Secure funding for projects, internally or externally
  • Design facilities in accordance with applicable codes
  • Acquire necessary pipeline rights of way, easements, surface sites, permits, and rentals for new construction
  • Purchase materials required for projects in accordance with the design specifications
  • Prepare job scope, written procedures, and specifications for construction of facilities
  • Obtain all necessary construction permits required by governmental agencies
  • Negotiate and award contracts to construction contractors based on job description and specifications
  • Develop and implement site health and safety plans to insure that project construction activities are performed in accordance with company and OSHA safety regulations
  • Manage project spending and maintain project budgets
  • Monitor/inspect construction activities to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner while maintaining quality assurance
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project inspectors
